OVERVIEW
This project combined Astec’s sporty DNA with the beloved charm of Disney’s Mickey and Friends, targeting Indonesia’s Gen Z market. Developed under the official “Mickey and Friends Gen Z Program,” the collection aimed to balance youthful expression with strict global branding standards, crafted in direct collaboration with Disney’s principal team.
Design Execution
The visual direction followed themes set by Disney’s principal team, namely “Mickey and Friends Gen Z Program” and “Retro Roadtrip.” While Disney provided the core character assets, I developed the supporting graphics, layouts, and typography. Inspired by Y2K aesthetics and retro diner visuals like neon boxes and chrome details, the final artwork delivered a playful, nostalgic, and Gen Z-relevant collection that aligned with both Disney’s guidelines and Astec’s brand personality.
